Grahlok

Privacy Policy

Effective 7 October 2026

Grahlok is a Vedic astrology app made by Portyx (Harshil Patel, India). This policy explains what the Grahlok apps for iPhone, Android and the web do with your information. In short: your birth details and charts stay on your device, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.

What stays on your device

Deleting the app, or a profile inside it, deletes this data. We have no copy of it.

What is sent to our server, and why

Web sign-in

The web app asks for your email address to send a one-time sign-in code. We keep the email with your free-period dates so you can sign in again. We do not send marketing email. If you join the app waitlist, we keep that email only to tell you when the app is available.

Service providers

About Google Gemini. We use Gemini under Google's terms for its free API tier, which allow Google to keep and use the content sent to it (questions, palm photos and voice recordings) to improve its products. Please don't include anything in a question that you would not want stored by Google.

Our server runs on Vercel and stores the counters above in a Postgres database. AI answers, palm readings and speech-to-text use Google Gemini. Spoken answers use ElevenLabs. Sign-in emails are sent with Resend. Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.

What we don't do

Place search

When you type a birth place, the text you type is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to list matching towns. Nothing else is sent with it.

Children

Grahlok is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can use Grahlok without the AI features; the app then sends nothing to our server. To delete your web account or waitlist email, or to ask what we hold, email support@grahlok.com and we will act within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
